Ultrasound treatment is indispensable in the cosmetic world. Ultrasonic waves penetrate deeply with a probe that slides over the skin (contact gel for better energy transfer), increasing the skin's permeability to active ingredients. Ultrasound is not made up of electromagnetic radiation, so there is no electricity. The ultrasound hits the skin like a mechanical pressure wave.

A special form of American treatment is used in the form of HIFU (High Intensity Focused Ultrasound). Usually interchangeable patterns with defined depths are used. The ultrasound is focused on a point below the skin surface and selectively heats the skin tissue. Coagulation foci are formed, which subsequently give tension to the tissue. The technique can only be performed safely with simultaneous observation of the treatment area with a special camera (very expensive), otherwise nerve cords can easily be injured. Due to the associated risk, HIFU devices will be made subject to a doctor's prescription from December 31, 2020.

ACUS® (Area Concentrated Ultra Sound) combines the best of both worlds. It is a pulsed ultrasound of about 2 MHz of the highest performance class. It is very effective and adapts to the respective skin situation. The skin is gently heated to a certain extent without coagulation of the tissue. In addition, there is an intensive tissue massage due to the compression and expansion of the pressure waves. We only use our hyaluronic acid gels as a contact gel, this way their highly concentrated active ingredients can penetrate even faster and deeper into the skin.
